Shelley, ABOC

Shelley has been a valued team member with the Fountains Eyecare Center since it's opening in 2009. She comes to the practice with a wealth of optometric knowledge. Shelley is a certified optician with the American Board of Opticianry since 2002. She has over 11 years of optical experience where she has served in the local community and surrounding areas to include O'Fallon, Collinsville, Waterloo, Fairview Heights, Glen Carbon, Belleville, Swansea, Columbia and Red Bud and St. Louis. Additionally, Shelley has over 5 years of management experience in one of the largest optical retail chains in the country, where under her leadership her store was rated number one in her region all five years!

Shelley demonstrates unwavering dedicated commitment to world class customer service to her eye care customers. She has received numerous accolades from the optical community when it comes to her drive, wit, sense of humor, and fundamental concern for people.

Her depth of knowledge in all aspects of optometry is phenomenal; she has a reputation as being an expert in her field. Shelley has a unique gift when it pertains to your eyeglass needs. She has keen judgment when it comes to the fashion facet of your eyeglasses; she sees frames as a fashion statement, similar to jewelry. Additionally, Shelley fully comprehends the technical aspects of your prescription. Her advice and counsel is sought by subordinates, peers, and eye doctors alike.

Shelley is a distinguished Optician, Optometric Assistant, Mother, Wife, Friend, Mentor and Team Builder. She resides in the O'Fallon area with her husband and 4 children. In her spare time, she enjoys volunteering at her children's schools, participating in church activities and gardening.
